DESCRIPTION & SUMMARY
On August 17th the Howard Lake City Council awarded the project to Knife River Corporation of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota in the amount of $752,684.65.

*The City was awarded the Trail Construction Grant in the amount of $150,000 from the State of Minnesota DNR. Upon completion of the trail, the City will be reimbursed $150,000 of our portion of the total project cost.

When is the project going to start? The project is slated to stare on April 18th. It was originally schedule for Fall 2021, but was pushed out for better weather.
How long will the project take to complete? It should be complete in 2 months from start date.
Can residents still drive through the project location? No. Residents will need us use the detour, map at the bottom of this page, or another alternative route.
