Administration

The Administration Department is responsible for personnel activities, labor relations, elections, communications and general government administration.

City Administrator

Nick Haggenmiller was appointed as the City Administrator in October 2015. The Administrator is the chief administrative officer and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the City. These activities include:

  • Managing contracts and consultants providing services to the City;
  • Supervising and coordinates all department activities;
  • Preparing the annual budget for Council consideration;
  • Responding to citizen inquiries and requests;
  • Implementing policies of the City Council and enforces all ordinances;
  • Preparing the Council agenda and materials for City Council consideration;
  • Serving as the primary contact for all community and economic development activities by assisting residents, business owners, and developers with land use, zoning, and development requests.

Assistant City Administrator

Meagan Theisen was hired as the Assistant City Administrator in January 2020. The Assistant City Administrator assists the City Administrator with day to day operations. Other responsibilities include directing Public Works, developing the Capital Improvement Plan, and assisting with code enforcement. 

Finance Coordinator

Jennifer Swendsen was hired in June 2022. The Finance Coordinator is responsible for all billings, payroll, and general accounting activities.
